5 - Ida Elizabeth Daniel

Ida Elizabeth Daniel 1863-1927 Ida Elizabeth Daniel was my maternal great-grandmother.  She was born in Adams Station, TN, on March 7, 1863, during the Civil War. The Hebrew meaning of the surname Daniel is "God is my Judge." Adams Station was along the Tennessee and Kentucky border and this is a map drawn during the 1800s.   My maternal line is as follows: Ida Elizabeth Daniel Henry Guller Ida Elizabeth Henry Simmons Ida Henry Simmons Goodrich Jennifer Goodrich Bonamo (me) In the 1870 US Census, Ida Elizabeth was seven years old and lived with her father, Robert Burton Daniel, and mother, Elizabeth Ann Tolleson Daniel, on their family farm, along with her younger brother Robert, Jr. The farm was mostly tobacco.  Ida Elizabeth Daniel worked as a teacher which is noted in the 1880 US Census below.   Ida Elizabeth Daniel Henry On December 4, 1882, she married David Henry, also from Robertson County, TN.  The Henrys w
